Law is awesome (and so is a free lunch)
Jake Olson, my business law professor, made the final exam optional, which means I don’t have to take it tomorrow afternoon. In fact, no one opted to take it, so we all ended the term early. For our last class session today, Jake ordered Jimmy John’s sandwiches for everyone and had each group bring something (like chips, drinks, etc.). We ate our lunch right outside the business building and chatted for a while. It was awesome, FREE, and awesome. I mean, what kind of teacher buys you lunch at the end of a semester? The awesome kind.

Whoa. What an ending. SO I can't remember, is he the professor just leaving or just starting?
ReplyDeleteHe's the one just starting. Perhaps part of the reason he wanted to treat us to lunch is that we're his first class. But mostly, I know he's just a good guy.
DeleteI dealt with the law almost daily for 40 years...so for now I'll take the free lunch.
ReplyDeleteI didn't even get through 40 days and I got a free lunch. That means you probably have about 487 free lunches coming your way at some point.
DeleteYour professors at BYU never bought you lunch?
