Richie found something like a flagon
And he drank and he drank and he drank and he drank
And walked on out of the dragon
Just outside the belly of the dragon
Richie came up to a little wagon
And he pulled and he pulled and he pulled and he pulled
And then he walked away from the dragon
Off and away from the giant dragon
Richie found a courageous band and
He spoke and he spoke and he spoke and he spoke
And said, "Let's defeat the dragon!"
On their way to defeat the dragon
Richie found a small open bag and
He looked and he looked and he looked inside
And there he saw a baby dragon
Richie ran off to meet the dragon
And he found him before the band and
He warned and he warned and he warned and he warned
But the dragon said, "I am a dragon!"
Rich remembered drinking a flagon
And he recalled pulling a wagon
And he grew in size and he multiplied
Till he could fight for the dragon
With the baby dragon in the wagon
And the power granted from the flagon
Richie fought and he took them down in a swoop
All the while keeping safe the dragon
Up then down the belly of the dragon
Richie looked and found the former flagon
And he drank and he drank and he drank and he drank
And then he fell asleep inside the dragon
I think you should record yourself singing this to Richie and then post it on your blog.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I love this epic tale of Richie and the Dragon.
Sorry, but...I'm not going to record myself singing this. If not for my singing voice, then for the repetition of the melody. But I'm glad you and Richie like it.
DeleteThis will mean everything to Richie someday...that his Daddy wrote a poem all about him. He's definitely the hero. "Richie fought and he took them down in a swoop." He'll grow up thinking he can do anything!
ReplyDeleteHaha, I hope you're right. Though, I sing songs about him every day, so I'm sure he'll just be like, "Another one?"
