Trigonometric integration should be so easy!

I panicked when I got to problem #7 on the calculus exam. Of the eight problems there, problem #7 was the one I couldn’t remember how to calculate. It was trigonometric integration, which is one of my strong points, but it was a certain combination of trig principles with which I was just a little too rusty. I was prepared for almost anything on the exam and that was one of the things I didn’t expect to be unprepared for.

But I feel like I gave it my best. I doubt my overall grade will be as good now because my test score, I suspect, will be in the B range, but I know I can work it back up and I know there are three more exams before semester’s end.

Also, the test took me about three hours. We were allotted 50 minutes (with leeway). There were several of us left over at the end, and I think I was the second-to-last person to give up. I say give up because I’m pretty sure we were all stuck on the same problem. Who can say, though.
