Meet Tyler

Karen, Rich, me
If I had unlimited time and money, I would likely buy every board game in existence and play them all. Sometimes I write poetry because I don't have time to write prose. My physical activity of choice is either ping pong, pool, swimming, racquetball, Frisbee golf, Ultimate Frisbee, or maybe even bowling.

I was born and raised in central California, moved to Arizona to serve a two-year mission for the Church, and then moved to Utah for school. I have a B.A. in Communications from Brigham Young University and am now working toward my B.S. in Mathematics at Utah State University. There will be no conclusion to my education, as I plan to learn new things all my life. Some people call this becoming an actuary, which is at the crux of my professional goals.

The church I speak of is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Many people refer to us as Latter-day Saints, or Mormons. Spirituality drives every force of my life and is my motivation for everything. While there are many things I could express in this blog about the Church and its tenets, sufficient information can be found by clicking here.

I've always falsely thought of myself as a reader, but I am in fact only a writer. It took me almost 26 years to realize I love math, but at least I figured it out.

Thanks to Nathan Brough and Kim Christopherson for taking awesome photos.
