Actuarial Intern, Cambia Health Solutions: May 2013 - Present.

• Assisted individual and small group pricing teams in preparing for the 2014 opening of the exchange. Using Excel, gathered and analyzed data on all Oregon competitors' base rates, providing management the data needed for state hearings and further rate development.

Statistics Assistant Instructor, Utah State University: Aug 2012 - Present.

• Performed analysis and solved statistics problems while lecturing on the use of Excel, probability distributions, and applications of statistics for a business statistics course.

• Trained 100+ students, in plain English, to apply statistics to business and everyday life.

Virtual Office Manager, Jay Marks Real Estate: Feb 2011 - Mar 2012.

• Performed technical and analytical functions through collection and statistical analysis of advertising data using Excel and other applications. Increased ad response by more than 500% and lead generation by more than 400%. Consequently decreased advertising expenses to less than $500 per month and increased sales revenue by about $4,000 per week.

• Provided support through database creation, converting all business to a completely paperless operation.

• Processed applications, contracts, work orders, and tenant/owner forms for 20+ units.
